Movement doodles
Participants of the practice call up via video link end move authentically (without music) for a prearranged time
Preparation for the practice
1. The practice takes place without music.
2. The practice lasts for a predetermined period of time and is divided into intervals. For example, for a total hour: 15 minutes of movement-feedback-10 minutes of movement-feedback-5 minutes of movement-feedback. Or 1 minute of movement-feedback-3 minutes of movement-feedback-5 minutes of movement-feedback-10 minutes of movement-feedback-15 minutes of movement-feedback.
3. For the practice, comfortable clothing is necessary, as well as an empty space in the room, approximately 2*2 meters, preferably a room with a door that can be closed, where no one will enter during the hour.
Movement instructions
1. During movement, it is necessary to express what is in the body, move as desired, as interestingly—physically, emotionally, or cognitively. Also, track changes or the absence of this interest. If there is no interest in moving, then it is necessary to track what I am doing when there is no interest, what strategies I choose, or witness micro-movements during stillness.
2. It is also necessary to identify in oneself the position of the meta-witness and witness oneself as the one moving. Witness whether I am expressing figuratively or abstractly, whether I am thinking about something in parallel, how I interact with objects in the room, how it affects me that others are also moving and sometimes watching me, etc.
3. Once during each entry into movement, you can pause and take on the role of a non-judgmental witness of others' movement. You can be inspired by them or simply observe. The amount of time for witnessing is unlimited.
4. Feedback between movement approaches is the time when you can share with others what you have tracked from the meta-witness position. Feedback can be given as desired.
